*Claude and Paloma* (1954)- Picasso spent hundreds of paintings, drawings, and prints in the late 1940s and early 1950s depicting his two youngest children, Claude and Paloma, who were born to his companion Fran�oise Gilot in 1947 and 1949. Picasso, by then in his mid-sixties and a world-famous public personality, discovered a stylistic fountain of youth in his vivacious progeny, which left significant impressions on his visual language.
